Hervey Bay (QLD, Australia)

Hervey Bay is located around 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane and has a population of around 53,000.

Many people visit Hervey Bay because they're visiting Fraser Island. I was really keen to visit Fraser Island but chose not to. I figured I would need to spend at least a few days in the Hervey Bay area to do it properly and decided that I'd do that another time.

In fact, the only reason I stayed in Hervey Bay was because I was so tired. I hadn't had much sleep the previous night and decided it was better to get some rest.
