Bowen (QLD, Australia)

Bowen is located the northern part of the Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia. I'd previously stayed in the Whitsundays at Airlie Beach, so this time I wanted to try somewhere new. I had never been to Bowen, so gave it a go.

Seemed like quite a basic town but it did have some pleasant surprises. I stayed in a resort area which had a beautiful outlook. It would have been even nicer if it wasn't raining!

First thing the next morning, I went for a run and found a great walking track that took me from Horseshoe Bay, over the hill, to Rose Bay (via Murray Bay). The following photos were taking during my morning run.
