Amazing Landscape Photos by Peter Lik
If you’re like me, you’ll love photos of the natural environment. In fact, the reason I started this website was because of my love for the natural environment.
When I first visited Cairns (Australia) at the end of 2006, I came across the Peter Lik photo gallery near the esplanade. I was blown away by Peter’s photography! His photos are amazing. Since then, I’ve moved to Cairns and have visited the gallery several more times. His photos never cease to amaze me!
Peter’s philosophy is to try and get people to slow down and see the world that they might have missed. Many of us get so caught up in day to day living that it’s easy to miss the natural beauty around us. I certainly think that Peter’s photography has the power to inspire people to take time out and look at the world around them.
Peter’s landscape photos typically feature dramatic lighting and angles.

Funny watching this clowns rise. When Lik was in Australia before photoshop existed his work was without merit. Now he has discovered saturation saturation saturation in PS .Look at his work before and after-its amazing his deception!Lik cares not about the environment, only the ego.Not a nice man!Truth outs!

Lik to sign with SyFy, a fantasy based cable TV network filled with shows about make believe stuff. And that’s exactly where Lik belongs, in a world full of make believe stuff – just like his photography. Bad move SyFy.

To see is to believe, I’ve been to 25 countries and I’ve seen many landscapes. If I didn’t travel to the north pole, I never would’ve discovered the aurora, If I didn’t travel to Australia I never would’ve seen the deep green ocean. If I never lived in California, I wouldn’t believe how many types of flowers there are here. To those people who haven’t traveled to beautiful places like Peter Lik and myself, keep your mouth shut if you know what’s good for you because you have no say in what Peter believes in because he is a very spiritual man. I would like to share this poem that I wrote which I believe explains Peter Lik’s philosophy.
To See, To Believe
If nature were to be a flower
Then art would be a wreath
Whomever creates the wreath
Is called the artist
And Peter Lik is beyond all the artists
He uses the rhythm of emotion to shoot his photos
He uses the positive energy when selecting his objects
He uses philosophy of freedom to water his galleries
A sky painting, a living forest, and a singing ocean
He makes these moments last
He has has been through ups and downs to reach his goal of truth, love, and beauty of mother nature
Come, let’s see him and his artwork
Now let our empty hearts be fulfilled by peace and hope
