WAYN Founders create Global Warming Campaign
As a member of social networking site WAYN.com, I received an email today from the founders. In response to many members’ requests, they have created a “Global Warming” profile that members’ can use to learn about global warming, as well as make a pledge.
Here’s a copy of the email:
We are writing to introduce ourselves as the co-founders of WAYN. Firstly, we hope you are well and that you are enjoying the site. This is the first time that we are sending a personal communication to our members, and it concerns a global issue were attempting to tackle.
Global Warming affects all of us and after receiving many comments from members expressing an interest in doing something constructive to help, we have set up a campaign aimed at doing just that. To find out how you can join the movement and amplify the impact you can make, check out the global warming profile.
The campaign consists of 12 pledges that you take to do your bit, ranging from offsetting your travel to planting a tree and they are all achievable! We have also created a Global Warming Skin which you can add to your profile to show your support and an Email Footer which will show that you have joined the movement and to help others find out how they can join too.
Please help us by acting today! If we all pledge to take small steps, then together we can make a huge impact to reduce the worlds carbon footprint!

It’s great to see such a popular site like WAYN doing this. Also, the fact that the WAYN founders state “This is the first time that we are sending a personal communication to our members…” really emphasizes the importance they place on the issue. Given WAYN has more than 10 million users, this should have a big impact on peoples’ awareness of today’s global warming issues.

In near future when all the fossil fuel will be exhausted, only nuclear power will be there as a source of energy and it could reduce the global warming with much extend. Business companies, transport, currency trading, manufacturing corporations will only use nuclear power , because fossil fuels are limited But bye the time damaged will be done. It is only in our hands to save our planet from this disaster.
