About Natural Environment

A natural environment is an environment that is as close as possible to its natural state. In other words, relatively untouched by humans.

This website aims to provide you with as much information as possible regarding our natural environment and what we can do to keep it that way.

Throughout the centuries, many changes have occured with our natural environment, and many of these changes have been due to human activity. Human activity can have a much higher impact to the natural environment than activity from other animals.

We are able to invent almost anything we want. Many of our inventions have enormous power to improve our lifestyles - to make us more comfortable. Although we should have enormous gratitute for our predecessors and peers who contribute to making our lives easier, we shouldn't forget the environment. So many inventions, while making our lives easy, can have an enormously adverse impact on the world around us.

When the motor vehicle was first invented, the world hadn't seen anything like it. Now, most people in the developed world probably couldn't imagine life without cars. But we all know how unfriendly cars are to the environment. Exhaust fumes cause so much pollution that the natural environment is starting to suffer.

Imagine a world where every car ran on green power. That is, power from renewable sources. Sources such as sun, wind, and rain. Imagine what a difference to the environment that would make. Or perhaps that should be, imagine what a difference it wouldn't make.
